NAO Multi Baffle Vent Seal – NFS-VT

The NAO Vent Tip with Fluidic Seal is specifically designed to provide safe operation during venting of waste gases.

The NAO Vent Tip is equipped with a Multi Baffle Fluidic Seal which greatly reduces any tendency for air to flow down the stack. The seal is located at the top of the stack and consists of a series of concentric conical baffles which reverse any downward air flow upon itself in such a way flow is choked off and swept out of the stack by the flowing vent gas or purge gas.

The Fluidic Seal has a low initial, operating and maintenance cost. The Vent Tip and Seal are fabricated in stainless steel for no corrosion problems. NAO’s fluidic vent seal is the most effective means of preventing air entry into your vent stack. NAO invented and patented this vent seal, since the early 1970’s. The fluidic seal has been installed on NAO flares and vent stacks for well over 45 years.

The NAO Vent Tip is equipped with our Multi Baffle Fluidic Seal which is designed to reduce any tendency for air to penetrate the vent stack. The fluidic seal is located at the top of the vent stack and consists of a series of concentric, conical baffles which reverse downward air flow upon itself in such a way, flow is choked off and swept out of the stack by the vent gas or purge gas.

The fluidic vent seal utilizes a minimum amount of purge gas, unlike other purge reduction devices on the market. The location of the fluidic vent seal prevents the need for excess purge gas and prohibits air from entering the upper portion of the vent stack, unlike other velocity seals which are not located at the upper most portion, of the vent seal.
